It’s the Little Things Community Providing home style, flavoursome meals for our vulnerable community.

It’s the Little Things Community provides home style meals and acts of kindness to the vulnerable, displaced and disadvantaged in our community. Our support extends to women and children escaping domestic violence, those experiencing homelessness, individuals dealing with mental health challenges, and families with seriously ill children. We believe in the power of connecting communities by uniting volunteers, schools, and businesses with our outreach partners to achieve a shared vision.

💜 4 Years in Our Kitchen! 💜

Four years ago today, we moved into our kitchen — and what an incredible journey it has been!

Since then, together we’ve:

👫 Welcomed 100 volunteers
🍽️ Prepared and distributed over 121,000 meals
🏫 Connected with 10 schools
🏢 Built relationships with 40 corporate partners
🤝 Worked alongside 12 outreach organisations across Melbourne

Every meal, every volunteer, every partnership, and every act of kindness has helped make a difference in the lives of vulnerable people in our community.

A huge thank you to the amazing Scouts from 2nd Hawthorn! 💜

The Scouts have done a fantastic job putting together snack packs for our community members doing it tough. It looks like they’ve assembled more than 60 snack packs!

These packs will provide a little comfort, nourishment, and kindness to people facing challenging circumstances, and we couldn’t do it without the support of community groups like 2nd Hawthorn Scouts.

Thank you to all the Scouts and leaders who volunteered their time and effort. Your teamwork, generosity, and community spirit will make a real difference in the lives of others. .australia
