We are at Gympie Central shopping centre today (Friday) to Sunday, selling raffle tickets and taking donations to support our athletes to get to the National Games in Melbourne, October 2026.

Well done to our golf athletes that are part of our affiliate club at Gunabul Homestead here in Gympie. What an incredible achievement for you all.

What an incredible week at the 2026 Special Olympics Australia Golf Classic last week at Palm Meadows Golf Course ! 🎉

The smiles say it all, with our Gunabul family achieving some fantastic results on the course:

🥈 Anthony – Silver Medal in his division
🥈 Michael – Silver Medal in his division
🏅 Kiesha – Bronze Medal in her division

These results are a testament to the dedication, hard work, sportsmanship and determination each athlete has shown throughout their journey. While the medals and placings are wonderful achievements, we’re just as proud of the courage, friendships, teamwork and personal growth displayed throughout the event.

At Gunabul Homestead, we are incredibly proud to support our athletes as they chase their dreams, and this week they have represented themselves, their families, Special Olympics and our community with distinction.

It's a lovely start to the day for Gympie's Football (Soccer) carnival.
Welcome athletes from Gladstone to Brisbane, its going to be a great competition today.
Canteen will be running, as well as raffles, so pop on down to see what we're all about.
Fields 1 and 2 at One Mile ovals.

Your support helps us provide weekly sporting opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities and autism, while also giving our athletes the chance to volunteer, learn new skills, and be active members of our community.
