ous activities conducted in a military setting with people who have the same interest as you. As an Army Cadet you will learn to be confident, self-sufficient and willing to have a go. It's your opportunity to discover new challenges and have some unbelievable fun. There is even opportunities to travel interstate and overseas as a Cadet. You'll learn to lead others and work within a team. Army Cadet training is physical, but not risky. Qualified and experienced Cadet Staff will instruct you. Safety is always a top priority. Army Cadets has strong links to the Australian Army, but Cadets are not part of the Army and there is absolutely no expectation for you to join the military. Army Cadets aim to be inclusive of all young people, including those with disabilities, health conditions and allergies. All reasonable steps will be taken to include any person whose individual circumstances may necessitate special consideration, provided such steps do not jeopardise the safety or Cadet experience of others. We come together for three hours on a Wednesday evening (6-9) to learn a wide-range of military lessons and then put these skills into practice on the last weekend of the month. The skills you acquire in the Army Cadets will set you up for life.
