Gympie Apex Club was proud to present a donation to an amazing organisation that works tirelessly to ensure local children don’t go hungry.

Knowing that this contribution will help provide and support kids in need makes us incredibly grateful to be able to give back to our community. Every child deserves access to food, and we’re honoured to support those making a real difference in young lives.

Vale Tony Nolan - On behalf of the Gympie Apex Club I would like to take this opportunity to send the clubs deepest condolences and sympathy to Tony’s immediate family, Debbie, Phoebe and Ged and also the extended Nolan family. Tony was a highly respected and valued member of Apex between 1995 and 2006. Tony filled many portfolios in his time and was also Muster Board Member as well as Muster Chairman in 1998. Tony's passion and care for the Muster became obvious as he got involved once again as Muster Chairman between 2015-2017 after the Muster had gone through some challenging times. Tony and his committee were instrumental in turning the event back into the force that it is today. Tony was a great friend to many, a great mentor to many and a great man gone way to soon. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten.

Just a reminder that nominations for the 2026/27 Apex Committee will be called at our May monthly meeting.

Positions include:
• President
• Vice President
• Secretary
• Treasurer

There are also other smaller roles:
▪︎ sheds and maintenance
▪︎ membership
• socials
• service

If you’re interested in stepping into a role, or would like to nominate someone, please start having those conversations now.

All nominations will require a proposer and seconder, and the nominee must accept the nomination.

Election will take place on the 4th of June at our Special General Meeting, where required (if more then 2 nominations).

The Reunion of the Apex Tribe was a huge success and a precursor for the 75th Anniversary of Gympie's Charter in 2028. (Inaugural was in 1952.) Now all we need to do is keep our LIST up to date with everyone's help. I'm going to do up a photobook but here is some photos from last Saturday night. I'll post the elder tribe Life Members first
