Ready for your next Action Adventure Widgee & Surrounds?! 🤩

🏈 TOUCH FOOTY 🏈

Starting on Monday 21st Sept from 4.45pm for Kids(Under 12yrs) followed by Adults (over 12yrs) at 5.30pm 🏉 on the Oval at Widgee Community Complex, 36 Power Rd.
Plus a Mini Game for the Littlies if there's interest.

All welcome to join in! No need to book, just come along. Only $2 per player.
This is a regular weekly event, during school terms.

Dear Widgee Residents, and those passing through - We would truly appreciate your help!

Last night, Friday 7th, a vehicle accessed the Widgee Complex Oval and created another mess, trashing the ground with their wheelies, donuts and circle work.

As well as leaving a negative impact on the grounds, the dark blue 4WD wagon was rolled and potentially damaged significantly.

After the fabulous job completed in conjuction with Gympie Regional Council, Cricket Qld and the Widgee Community Complex members, we were devastated to see the result of this event.

We are fairly confident that we know who is responsible for the occurrence, but are keen to hear from you if you saw or heard anything?

Two young people with their red & white Collie were seen around 11pm, but we believe they were not involved, however would love to touch base to see if they can give us more information.

The Oval is a community asset and now that we have commenced regular Cricket matches as well as potentially starting Touch Footy, Handball and other sporting fixtures, we're keen to ensure these episodes don't continue.

Any details, know matter how small, would be appreciated.

🏈 Who's Up?! Who's Keen?! TOUCH FOOTY - Let's Go Widgee!! 🙋🙋‍♀️

We want to hear from YOU & your mates if you're interested to meet up & play regular social Touch Footy games on the Oval at Widgee Community Complex, Power Road in Widgee.

All areas & All ages - Kids match & an Adults match if that's what you want!

Thinking maybe mid week after school.... then swing by Widgee General Store for a filling feed on the way home! Way To Go 👍🤩
