The National Electrical and Communications Association NSW was pleased to once again host its annual NSW Parliament Dinner, bringing together NECA Board Members, industry leaders, members, sponsors and key decision makers from across government and the electrotechnology sector.
Held in the historic NSW Parliament, the evening provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships, discuss emerging industry challenges and opportunities, and highlight the critical role electrical and communications contractors play in powering Australia's economic growth, energy transition and digital future.
NECA extends its sincere thanks to our distinguished guests and speakers, including:
⚡Minister Penny Sharpe, Minister for Climate Change and Energy
⚡Minister Janelle Saffin, Minister for Small Business
⚡Minister Anoulack Chanthivong, Minister for Better Regulation and Fair Trading, who delivered the keynote address
⚡Nathan Hagarty MP, Government Whip
⚡Charishma Kaliyanda, Parliamentary Secretary for Digital
We also acknowledge the contributions of NECA President Steve Kerfoot, Vice President David Orr, NECA NSW Directors, NECA NSW Executive Director Mark Stedfut and NECA National CEO Stewart Joyce, who reinforced NECA's commitment to advocating for a safe, skilled and sustainable electrical industry.
The discussions throughout the evening highlighted the importance of collaboration between industry and government on key issues including workforce development, electrical safety, licensing reform, energy infrastructure, digital transformation and the growing demands associated with Australia's energy transition.
A big thank you and acknowledgement to Nathan Hagarty MP who has hosted this evening every year since his election to Parliament as the Member for Leppington.
Thank you to all NECA members, sponsors and guests who attended and helped make the evening such a success.
Together, we continue to build a stronger future for Australia's electrotechnology industry.
