The National Electrical and Communications Association is pleased to announce that CEO Stewart Joyce has recently been Appointed as a Director of Powering Skills Organisation (PSO).

NECA is a founding member of the PSO which is Federal Government recognised Jobs and Skills Council responsible for workforce planning, training products and skills development across Australia’s energy sector.

At a time when Australia faces significant workforce challenges associated with electrification, renewable energy deployment, transmission infrastructure, digital technologies and the broader energy transition, Stewart’s appointment will ensure the voice of industry remains central to future workforce planning and training reform.

NECA Queensland Welcomes New Executive Appointments and Honours Life Members

NECA Queensland is pleased to announce the appointment of Cam Stanfield as Vice President and Keola Westcott as Councillor. We congratulate both Cam and Keola on their appointments and look forward to their valuable contributions in helping shape the future of our industry and supporting our members across Queensland.

We are also proud to recognise two outstanding individuals, David James and Russel Thompson (not pictured), who have both been awarded Life Membership of NECA Queensland. This prestigious honour acknowledges their exceptional dedication, leadership, and long-standing commitment to NECA and the electrical industry.

A sincere thank you to IPD for generously hosting the NECA Queensland Board Meeting at their Head Office.
