Leighdale pony club ran a lovely encouragement show. It poured with rain all day, and while the little kids enjoyed the indoor, we tested just how wet we could get. They pick a fantastic Judge who managed to be patient, encouraging and understanding all with a smile while getting very wet. Thanks Eryn Butcher for marshalling all day in the rain. Those that had been excited to try competing or feeling ready to challenge their nerves, did not let the weather dampen their enthusiasm. Amazing riding Bell and Garth, Stefi and Bonnie, Louise and Spud, and Ash and Nils! With the awesome support team Narelle, Lindsay, Ana! No one can call these riders fine weather riders. The horses were all pretty good considering the weather, apart from spud falling in love with someone else’s horse in the yard. Was nice to have 4 horses competing together and everyone showing encouragement to each other and good sportsmanship. Thanks to Jo and Lindsey for the horses spunky hair cuts. They looked amazing with different patterns!
