The Salvation Army Street Teams are looking for volunteers to support people in Hobart and Launceston on Friday and Saturday nights. Whether it's providing first aid, offering a bottle of water, helping someone get home safely, or simply checking in with someone who needs support, every shift helps create a safer night out for everyone.

Last year alone, Street Teams:
• Assisted more than 13,000 people across Tasmania.
• Helped prevent dozens of unnecessary ambulance call-outs.
• Safely de-escalated conflict and supported people experiencing crisis.

We're regularly welcoming young people each Thursday, with the space buzzing with games, activities, connection, and fun.

The Glenorchy Youth Hub is quickly becoming a go-to space for young people in our community, and we'd love to see even more faces through the door!

Staff are there from 3:00 - 5:00 pm each Thursday ahead of opening.

Come along, hang out, meet new people, and see what all the excitement is about. We can't wait to welcome you! 🙌
