We were lucky to be asked to cater a BBQ at Hobart Zoo and Aquarium.
A fantastic opportunity to see all the animals.
It was a very windy and challenging day, with everything needing to be tied down, but as always the team triumphed and delivered a great result.
A big thank you to all our members and volunteers who made it happen.

Last week we hosted a BBQ for Glenorchy Council to highlight Mental Health Week. The event was held in the Library forecourt a welcoming space with trees,seating,and plenty of room for people to gather. The sunny weather made it an ideal setting to meet and talk with local citizens, share laughs, and create genuine moments of connection.
Thanks to members who attended this event. Great work.

Celebrated spring with a visit to Runnymede House.

It was a beautiful day for a picnic.
The house and garden were lovely, the tour was informative, and we learned a bit about the history and early development of Hobart and its surrounds.

Father’s Day set up at Bunnings.
It was a cold and wet night with few people around, but we still showed up and promoted our club.

Today,1st Vice District Governor Marg Cranney and President Amanda attended the Friends middle school in North Hobart to promote Leo’s, Lion’s, and the Peace Poster competition. The staff and students were very welcoming and interested in learning about our organisation.

Last week we held our Changeover Dinner. It was a great night with everyone enjoying a lovely meal and a lot of friendship. Thanks to our guests for braving a cold night to attend. Thanks to members who attended, and for helping. A special thanks to Lion Hester for inducting our new Board. Congratulations to Leo member Kane on receiving the Jack Allen Award.

Just letting everyone know,
Went to A one fruit shop in Glenorchy was abused by the owner after asking for strawberries and raspberries. Certainly won’t be going back.
