☕ Our friends at Restoration Coffee have closed their doors, and we're sad to see them go 😔

Over the past 18 months, the team at Restoration Coffee donated hundreds of coffee vouchers to Lazarus, which meant our guests could head over and enjoy a hot cuppa.

They've truly left our community a better place than when they arrived.

Thank you Sharon, David, and Sara for helping us and many others with your generosity. 💚

🎤 What a night at Her Voice: Australian Women in Song.

and Drop Of A Hat Productions Geelong brought this fundraiser to life, with Bellarine Arts Centre providing the perfect venue.

Jocelyn Mackay, Rayna Hudgell, and Sonoka Miyake gave performances that captivated the whole room, and our very own Sam told her story.

The event raised $2,500, which will go towards our free women's counselling program at Lazarus.

Thank you to all those who brought this event together and made it a night to remember!

🏠 Homelessness Action Now.

That's the theme for Homelessness Week 2026 (3-9 August).

On any given night, more than 123,000 people across Australia are experiencing homelessness.
And that number continues to grow.

Lazarus is here 365 days a year. If you want to know how you can help us support the homeless in Geelong, call us on 0419 741 935 or ring our doorbell at 202 Myers St.

♻️ Geelong, we've only got 54 days left to hit the target on our cans & bottles drive. And at the moment, we're way off!

Lazarus is part of Victoria's Container Deposit Scheme and we’ve set a $5,000 goal.
So far, we've only raised $277.50.

So please, have a dig around in your pantry, share a slab of Cokes with your mates this weekend, and donate your empty cans and bottles to Lazarus at your nearest CDS container.

🥕 Spotted on Myers Street: fresh fruit, veggies, and staples, free for those who need it.

Keep an eye out for our community pantry table, set up out the front of Lazarus at 202 Myers Street, Geelong.
If you could use a little help to stock up your cupboards, feel free to take what you need.

And if the table's empty, ring the doorbell. We've often got more inside. Come and say hello. 💚

A lot of visitors through our doors in June, which means the kitchen was running hot all month!
Here's a breakdown:

👋 1557 total visits to our centre
🆕 53 new clients
🍽️ 1637 meals served
🚿 181 showers and toiletries provided
🧺 107 loads of laundry washed
🎒 342 clothing items & backpacks provided
💈 16 haircuts given

Keep the support coming, Geelong. We appreciate it, as do the people who need our services.
