💛 Big recognition for two remarkable carers.
Centacare’s Tony and Judy were recently featured by WE ARE.SA, highlighting over 40 years of supporting children and helping families come back together.
Awarded 2025 Foster Carers of the Year, they dedicated the honour to foster and kinship carers across South Australia—celebrating the difference care can make in a child’s life.

We loved seeing our Centacare Foster Care Program reunification carers Tony and Judy featured by WE ARE.SA, sharing their incredible story of care, connection and helping children safely return to family.

With more than four decades of experience as foster carers, Tony and Judy were named 2025 Foster Carer of the Year – an honour they accepted on behalf of every foster and kinship carer in SA.

A beautiful reminder of the lasting impact carers can have on children, young people and families.

🚒🚛 Come visit our stall at Department for Child Protection SA’s Touch-a-Truck event today! 🚜🚓

All carers are welcome! Children will be able to climb aboard real-life trucks and emergency services vehicles, meet the people who drive them, and get up close with some seriously cool vehicles.
