The gift that keeps on giving 🙌
We recently told you about the Lifely x Bendigo Special Developmental School x McKern partnership through the Netball for All program. Since then, more has come to fruition.
During the visit at the school, Michael was shown the beginnings of a new gym, organised by Megan, the school physio. Knowing they needed equipment, one conversation with D-Club Fitness was all it took - they donated a full range of professional gear to the school in less than a week!
Then the McKern Steel team went one step further, heading into the workshop to fabricate and fit the bars themselves, delivering fully built barbells straight to the school.
The new equipment helps students build strength for everyday life, all while making movement more enjoyable and accessible for young people with disability.
That's what happens when local businesses show up for their community 💪
