We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Molly, Bendigo Health’s newly appointed Specialist Neurology Nurse!
This is a fantastic outcome for our community and an important step forward in providing greater care, support and guidance for local people and families living with neurological conditions.
And it’s an achievement that so many people across Bendigo can feel proud to have contributed towards.
Through the Bendigo Health Foundation, this important position has been co-funded by the collective efforts of several community fundraising initiatives, including Tracks For Care, Fluoro for Neuro and the Bendigo Ford Fun Run, along with other generous contributions.

To the businesses and individuals who have purchased a piece of Bendigo’s original 1903 tram track, our project partners, volunteers, sponsors and everyone who has helped spread the word — you’ve all played a part in making a real difference.
We also acknowledge the incredible efforts of everyone involved in the other fundraising initiatives that have helped make Molly’s appointment possible.
When Tracks for Care began, we hoped that preserving a small piece of Bendigo’s history could help create something meaningful for the future.
To now see that support contributing to a dedicated nursing role that will directly benefit local patients and families is incredibly rewarding.

While Molly’s appointment is a wonderful milestone, our fundraising efforts now shift towards helping ensure this important position can continue well into the future.
We want this role to become a lasting part of neurological care at Bendigo Health, providing ongoing support to local patients and families for years to come.
With a limited number of our 300 original tram track pieces still available, there’s a great opportunity for more individuals and businesses to get involved.
Every piece purchased helps us work towards that next goal.

Thanks to funds raised by our community through Fluoro for Neuro, Tracks for Care and the 2026 Bendigo Ford Fun Run, the Bendigo Health Foundation has supported a new dedicated Multiple Sclerosis & Neuroimmunology Nurse Coordinator role at Bendigo Health.
Multiple Sclerosis & Neuroimmunology Nurse Molly Kelly provides patients with an additional layer of support — from diagnosis through ongoing care, including education, care coordination and connection to other services.
“A neuroimmunological diagnosis can be confronting and often requires ongoing monitoring and disease modifying therapy. My role is to provide coordination, guidance and support to help people live well with their condition.”
The new role provides patients with an ongoing point of contact, helping them navigate their care and offering support between appointments. This is just one way community donations can translate into practical, ongoing support for local patients.
