After waiting nearly two years, they have finally arrived in Australia (from Nu Poe refugee camp in Thailand).
We are delighted that this family can now reunite with their brother in Bendigo and begin a new chapter together. We are also very proud to have supported and sponsored their journey to Australia.
Having spent many years living in refugee camps in Thailand under difficult circumstances, this opportunity represents a significant milestone for the family.
We hope the Australian Government will continue to support community sponsorship programs and allow organisations like KCSSF to sponsor more families in need, giving them the chance to build a safer and brighter future in Australia.
This is the 4th Family we’ve picked up at the airport so far this year.
