Ice Skating Australia (ISA) has advised that the planned ìmplementation of the ISA-27 Music Verification and Copyright Compliance Policy has been cancelled.

ISA acknowledges that the introduction of this policy created uncertainty across the membership, and sincerely apologise for any confusion or inconvenience caused.

Members are advised to continue operating as per existing practices while further updates are finalised. Additional information will be provided by ISA as soon as it becomes available.

ISA strongly encourages athletes, parents, coaches, club committees, and Member Boards/Councils to attend the session. The session is very informative and you will have the opportunity to ask questions.



Why this matters:
Music licensing is a legal requirement and plays a vital role in protecting athletes, coaches, clubs, State Bodies and ISA. Using licensed music ensures compliance, supports artists and creators, and helps avoid unnecessary issues or penalties at events.

To support members through this process, ClicknClear is hosting an online education session that will:

• Explain music licensing requirements and obligations

• Demonstrate how to use the ClicknClear platform

• Answer your questions live

Congratulations to the skaters who successfully tested this weekend! With all skaters passing their test, seeing their hard work paying off.

Tasya Jonker, the first ever figure skater representing the Northern Territory at the National Figure Skating Championships, achieved a magnificant top ten placement in the Adult Women Silver category, finishing 9th out of 16 skaters! Not only is this a first for the Northern Territory, she did so against high quality figure skaters from across the country. Congratulations Tasya. We are very proud of what you have achieved.

Day 3 of the Australian Adult Figure Skating Championship 2026 the last day of the competition! Day 3 promises more quality figure, we wish these skaters the best of luck!

Day 2 of the Australian Adult Figure Skating Championship 2026 in Brisbane has started. After a very exciting first day where Bronze levels figure skaters showed of their skills, it is the turn of the Silver level figure skaters to perform, including our own Northern Territory representative, Tasya Jonker!

Tasya's level starts performing at 4pm (3.30pm Darwin time). We wish Tasya all the best with her performance today.

The 2026 Australian Adult Figure Skating Championship in Brisbane is starting today. The three day championship starts with the Bronze Women and Bronze Men levels. The competition will be livestreamed on You Tube. The event today will start at 2:30pm Brisbane time, 2:00pm Darwin time! The FSANT wishes all competitors the best of luck.
