AIYA NT is back and the relaunch was bigger than we ever imagined 🇦🇺🇮🇩

What an incredible night reconnecting communities, cultures, and young people across the Northern Territory. We were beyond excited to welcome 70+ attendees to the AIYA NT Relaunch. The energy in the room was truly something special.

One of the biggest highlights of the evening was the interactive angklung session 🎶

The enthusiasm from attendees was amazing! People were fully engaged, excited to participate, and eager to learn together through music and culture. It was a beautiful reminder of the connections that can be built through shared experiences.

The food was also a crowd favourite 🍽️
Many guests shared positive feedback about the catering, with some even coming back for second servings!

We were honoured to have strong support from both members and external stakeholders, including representatives from the Indonesian Consulate, the Associate Vice-Chancellor Indonesia at CDU, and representatives from the Northern Territory Government. Their engagement, encouragement, and support for future initiatives mean so much to us as we continue growing the Australia-Indonesia youth community in the NT.

Most importantly, it was inspiring to see so many people express interest in future AIYA NT events and initiatives. This relaunch was more than just an event, it was the beginning of a new chapter.
