Kirra parkrun A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 7am at Kirra Beach, Gold Coast. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.

The mainstay of parkrun is that it is simple and offers no barriers to taking part. We have successfully removed almost every issue presented to us since our inception and the formula is so successful that we are now receiving calls of interest from all over the world. Our parkrunners can run, jog or walk, can bring their dog on a lead or push their children in a pram and can be 5 years old or 105.

Tomorrow is a big day at Kirra parkrun as three parkrunners finish their virtual run around Australia in Run The World. Celebrate with Sue, Judy and Linda as they complete their 14,080 kilometre odyssey.

We will also be joined tomorrow by the legend behind Run the World, Travis Ireland. This is a great opportunity to have a chat with Trav to learn more about this wonderfully motivating app.

Please wear your Run the World t-shirt or singlet if you have one to really mark the occasion. 🦘🇦🇺🌏

Bellevue Park junior parkrun is going wild this Sunday!

junior parkrun is for children aged 4 to 14. It’s a 2km event held at 8am on Sunday. And unlike regular parkrun, participants don’t have to run with an adult.

As a courtesy to other runners and walkers Savannah and Terry started at the back of the pack today. Impressively Savannah had worked her way through the 266 runners and walkers with Terry to finish in 107th and 108th place in under 28 minutes, absolutely fantastic and well done.
