Young Carers of Northern Sydney Through Carer Gateway, we provide support to help identify and achieve your goals.

Young carers are people under 25 who support a family member or friend who has a disability, mental illness, drug or alcohol dependence, chronic condition or who is frail. Through the Carer Gateway, you can access a variety of services that meet your needs as a carer. You will be given opportunities to speak to adults who will listen to you and do their best to provide support and services. Some o

f the ways that we can support you include:
• Respite and retreats
• Tutoring to help you with your school work and help you prepare for exams
• Counselling
• Access to educational programs
• Online coaching
• Peer support
• Driving lessons
