Joined by athletes from across the country, Queenslanders Ruby Pass and James Hardy will take to the stage in Glasgow, supported by fellow Sunshine State athlete Aiden Frick as travelling reserve🔥

Congratulations to our newest Life Member: Tracie Brooks 👏

Gymnastics Queensland is proud to award Life Membership to Tracie in recognition of her outstanding contribution to gymnastics over many decades.

Since making Queensland home in 1999, Tracie has dedicated countless hours to the growth and success of our sport. Her contributions include:
• Serving on the Gymnastics Queensland Board from 2011, including seven years as President and one year as Vice President
• Representing Queensland as a judge at every Australian Championships since 2000
• Representing Queensland and Australia at numerous international events
• Educating, mentoring, and supporting judges, clubs, and regional gymnastics communities across the state
• Volunteering at major events, including the Sydney Olympic Games

Tracie’s leadership, expertise, and commitment have left a lasting impact on gymnastics in Queensland and continue to benefit our community today.

Congratulations to our newest Life Member – Kathleen Graham OAM 👏

Gymnastics Queensland is proud to award Life Membership to Kath Graham in recognition of her outstanding and dedicated service to gymnastics spanning more than five decades.

Kath has made an extraordinary contribution to the sport as a coach, judge, administrator, mentor and leader. Her achievements include:
• Awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for services to Men's Gymnastics in Australia
• International Men's Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) Brevet Judge since 2001
• Gymnastics Queensland Board Director from 2016–2019
• Former Gymnastics Queensland staff member, including Sports Program Manager and Club Services Officer
• Long-standing presenter, mentor and supervisor of judges across Queensland
• Queensland representative judge at national competitions for more than a decade
• Contributor to the development of the Gymnastics Queensland MAG Masters Program and the 75-Year History of Gymnastics Queensland

Kath’s passion, expertise and commitment to developing athletes, coaches and judges have had a lasting impact on gymnastics in Queensland and across Australia.

Congratulations to our newest Life Member – Trisha Hade 👏

Gymnastics Queensland is proud to award Life Membership to Trisha Hade in recognition of her exceptional contribution to gymnastics in Queensland, Australia, and on the international stage.

A former Queensland gymnast, Trisha has dedicated decades to the sport as a coach, judge, mentor and leader, helping shape the success of generations of athletes, coaches and officials.

Her outstanding achievements include:
• Member of the FIG Women’s Technical Committee (2024–present)
• Life Member of Gymnastics Australia
• Gymnastics Australia National WAG Judging Coordinator for 11 years
• Gymnastics Queensland High Performance Manager and long-serving WAG Judging Coordinator
• Member of the Gymnastics Queensland WAG State Management Committee for more than 30 years
• FIG Category 1 Judge since 2012
• Representative judge for Queensland at 35 consecutive Australian Championships
• Represented Australia as a judge at 4 Olympic Games, 5 Commonwealth Games and multiple World Championships

Throughout her career, Trisha has been a passionate mentor, educator and advocate for excellence, playing a pivotal role in the development of Queensland’s high-performance programs and judging pathway. Her leadership and international expertise continue to elevate gymnastics in Queensland and beyond.

At an impressive 84 and 97, Norma and Noeline take part in a weekly Fitter for Life class in Logan, run by Brisbane TeamGym & Tumble.

Fitter for Life (FFL) is a gymnastics program specifically designed for over 50's, helping participants stay fit, active, and healthy. FFL is a fantastic way to keep not only the body, but the mind, active and in shape. It's also a great way to meet friends like Norma and Noeline!

Final call to register your interest in this amazing opportunity!

Gymnastics Queensland and TAFE Queensland (RTO 0275) are preparing to commence the mid-year intake of the TAFE at School Certificate II in Sport Coaching (SIS20321), starting this July.

With the program approaching commencement, now is the time to secure your place or register your interest to learn more.

Delivered one day per week at Sleeman Sports Complex, this program gives students the opportunity to step into coaching, build real skills, and gain a nationally recognised qualification while still at school.

Participants will:
✔ Study one day per week at Sleeman Sports Complex
✔ Gain fundamental coaching experience
✔ Receive complimentary access to the Gymnastics Australia Coach and Judge Accreditation Pathways
✔ Build a pathway into further study and careers in sport
✔ Access VETiS funding (for eligible students)

“This is about giving students the opportunity to get started in sport now and build real momentum,” said Don Harley.
