The beginners are continuing to build their skills, confidence and Kendo spirit each week. A huge ありがとうございます to our motodachi and everyone who helped keep the training moving and our beginners on track!

Shiai night for August done and dusted! Congratulations to Wes, Bling and Yuki O for taking out their respective competitions on the night! We had enough time for a Kōhaku-sen at the end and the white team captained by Noa won the day against the red captained by Jane. It came right down to the wire with both taishō battling it out into enchō. Thanks to the work of the shimpan, scorers and volunteers we ran two shiaijo. Special thanks to Jonathan from UC Kendo Club and Wes from Seiikan Kendo Dojo for coming along!
