A preliminary review of the Toogood Road development application has been prepared by the Tree Action Group.

It raises important concerns about the proposed 49-lot subdivision, including the removal of our iconic Toogood Road Fig Tree and the loss of Community Facilities land, and the proposed stormwater approach.

This land was set aside for community needs - and if it is rezoned and subdivided, it is lost for good.

Cairns needs liveable suburbs with trees, services, shade, and space for future community facilities.

Toogood is too good to lose.
