Diesel and Darcy are making sure they’re stretched, warmed up and looking their absolute best for a VERY important weekend! 🤣❤️

And apparently their morning workout requires the assistance of Lurch — their Angel Carer’s incredibly handsome and VERY patient resident dog. 😂

Lurch has been such a beautiful foster brother to these two little monkeys, patiently letting them climb all over him while helping them learn, play and grow. 🥹🐾

🚨🐾 ANGEL CARERS — WE NEED OUR VILLAGE TOMORROW! 🐾🚨 2 more Carers needed please 💚

Hey Angels 💙💛

We have NINE unexpected little arrivals coming into Nameless Angels care tomorrow, and we’re reaching out to our existing Angel Carer family to see who might have room to help. 🪽🐶

Their story is another heartbreaking one.

A couple of weeks ago, a Barossa local was out walking his dog along a trail in Angaston when his dog drew his attention to a box.

He went over to investigate, opened it and found…

NINE young puppies inside. 💔

Nine little babies had been left together in a box on a walking trail.

Thankfully, they were found. ❤️ And tomorrow they’ll be coming into Nameless Angels care so we can make sure the rest of their story looks very different.

🩺 We’ve already reached out to our wonderful vet partner Black Forest Veterinary Surgery and asked if they could somehow squeeze nine unexpected little patients in tomorrow for their:

🐾 Vet checks
💉 Vaccinations
🩺 Microchipping

And the answer was a BIG YES! 🥹❤️

Now we need our Angels.

🌿 MEET SAGE — 6 MONTHS OLD & FULL OF LOVE 🌿

Looking for a quiet, sophisticated young lady who enjoys sitting politely in the corner and contemplating life?

Keep scrolling. 😂

Sage is 6 months old, full of energy, personality and enthusiasm for absolutely EVERYTHING. Life is exciting when you’re Sage, and she intends to make the most of every minute of it! 🐾

Her résumé is already pretty impressive:

🐶 Dogs? Love them.
🐱 Cats? Yep, they’re cool too.
👧 Kids? Absolutely!
🛋️ Couch cuddles? Her SPECIALITY.
😴 Sleeping all night in her crate? Nailed it.
🚽 Toileting outside? Yep — she knows the drill.
🦮 Walking on lead? She does a great job.
🎓 Training? This clever cookie already knows basic commands including sit and drop.

Sage is young, smart and very willing to learn. She’s at that wonderful age where she’s enthusiastic about everything and ready for someone to continue showing her how to be the best girl she can be.

She’ll need a family who understands that a 6-month-old bundle of energy doesn’t come with an OFF button… although we have discovered that cuddles on the couch do temporarily activate standby mode. 😂❤️

Sage would love an active family who will include her in their adventures, continue her training and, most importantly, leave a Sage-sized space beside them on the couch.

Because after a busy day of playing, learning and generally being fabulous…

this girl takes her cuddling responsibilities VERY seriously. 🥰🐾

Dogs are constantly observing the people around them. They pay attention to far more than just the words we say. 🐶✨

They notice:
🐾 How we move
🐾 Our facial expressions
🐾 Our tone of voice
🐾 Our emotions
🐾 How we respond to situations

That's why dogs often pick up on our mood before we've even realised it ourselves.

When we remain calm, patient, and consistent, we're helping our dogs feel safer and more confident too. 💛

For rescue dogs especially, these signals can make a huge difference as they learn to trust and navigate their new environment.

The good news?

🐾🩷 MUMMA & HER FOUR TINY BABIES — 36 HOURS IN CARE 🩷🐾

What a difference just 36 hours of feeling safe can make. 🥹❤️

Our beautiful mumma and her four tiny babies are settling into their new surroundings beautifully, and we couldn’t be happier with how Mum is doing.

She’s already starting to trust her wonderful Angel Carer and is:

🥰 Taking treats from her Angel Carer
🍽️ Eating well
💧 Drinking well
😴 Sleeping and getting some much-needed rest
🍼 Caring beautifully for her four precious babies

For a mumma who has just had her whole world change, these little signs mean so much. ❤️

Her babies, approximately 1–2 weeks old, are doing exactly what tiny puppies should be doing — drinking, sleeping, wiggling and piling on top of each other for the best snuggling position. 😂🐾

And Mum? She’s never far away. 🥹

Now we need YOUR guesses because there’s one thing we haven’t told you yet…

Meet Fendi — our sweet, sassy, affectionate little Staffy X German Shepherd girl with those beautiful eyes that could melt absolutely anyone. 🐶💕

Fendi might be petite, but this little girl certainly has personality! 😂

🐾💙💛 WHAT AN INCREDIBLE NIGHT AT BUNNINGS MT BARKER! 💛💙🐾

Our hearts are VERY full tonight. 🥹🪽🐶

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came along to the Father’s Day Family Event at Bunnings Mt Barker tonight. What an amazing evening filled with families, fun, community spirit and, of course… plenty of puppy cuddles! 🐶❤️

A massive thank you to the entire Bunnings Mt Barker team for inviting Nameless Angels along and making us feel so incredibly welcome.

We even had the absolute privilege — and VERY difficult job 😂 — of judging the fashion parade for the dads wearing their fabulously decorated hi-vis jackets! 🦺🏅👏 There was definitely plenty of creativity on display, and it was such a fun part of the night!

A very special thank you also goes to our incredible Angel Carers and volunteers. 🪽❤️

Some travelled far and wide tonight, giving up their evening and driving considerable distances to bring our rescue doggies along — all to give them the very best opportunity to meet their potential forever families.

And to the families who came specifically to meet our dogs… WOW. 🥹

Some of you travelled more than an hour just for the opportunity to meet a dog who might become part of your family.

That means more to us than you could ever know. ❤️

Tonight there were puppy cuddles, introductions, conversations about adoption, fostering and volunteering, lots of smiles, popcorn, medals and some seriously impressive hi-vis fashion! 😂🦺🏅🍿

Most importantly, Fleur, Jett, Darcy, Sage and Fendi were given another opportunity to be seen, loved and hopefully make that special connection. 🐶🏡

Because sometimes all it takes is one meeting.

One cuddle. ❤️

One connection. 🐾

And suddenly a rescue dog who has been waiting for somewhere to belong may have just met their person. 🥹🏡

We can’t wait to see what comes from tonight’s introductions. 🤞❤️

To Bunnings Mt Barker, our amazing Angel Carers, volunteers, supporters, every family who travelled to meet our dogs and every person who stopped for a cuddle, conversation or to learn more about Nameless Angels — THANK YOU.

If you’re looking for a puppy who is clever, affectionate, playful and just a little bit sassy… Darcy would like a word. 😂🐶

Darcy might be one of the smaller girls from her litter, but what she lacks in size she absolutely makes up for in personality!

Darcy is happiest when she’s with her people.

In fact, if she thinks she’s being left out of something important, she’s quite prepared to let everyone know about it. 😂

Because in Darcy’s world…

✨ Darcy is the main character. ✨

And we wouldn’t have her any other way.

Behind all that sass is an incredibly sweet little girl who adores human connection and has a clever brain just waiting to be challenged.
