Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of hosting a Fabulous Fungi Foray with the wonderful ecologist Alison Pouliot.

A huge thank you to Alison who gave us an interactive and engaging talk on Fungi to begin the session.

Morning tea was catered by .little.cupcake Ballarat before we set off on our foray. We did not have to walk far to come across a wide variety of fungi.

Alison addressed preconceptions and the common stigma surrounding fungi and invited us to use our senses to describe some of the mushroom we found.

Together we investigated the textures, shapes, smells, habitat of several species and remained CURIOUS.

Thank you to all of the participants for coming along and enjoying this session with us.
