parkrun Australia has teamed up with the Daniel Morcombe Foundation and the 31st of October is the day where you can dress up and wear red.
Participants are encouraged to take photos and post them using the hashtag to raise the awareness of child safety.

Daniel’s foundation chose this day to coincide with Halloween and would also support for those who are feeling a bit spooky to dress up, we guarantee you will find our RD brief spellbinding 🧙‍♀️

We will see you on Saturday morning at 7:55am for the first timers briefing!

19/10/2026

As mentioned in our briefing last weekend, De Soza parkrun is cancelled this weekend (October 24th) as the venue is unavailable.
The City of Ballarat will be hosting a children’s event in the park which might be of interest to some of our younger participants.
