We're currently looking for people living with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities to join a training team in Ku-ring-gai. Our teams learn how to regenerate bush, maintain grounds, and perform gardening for older people.

This is a great opportunity for ambulant people who enjoy being in the outdoors, like using their hands, and can be part of a small and safely supervised team.

On a recent visit to Greendale creek Bushlink team members Ben, Billy, Adrian and Tarek had a competition to find the biggest Turkey Rhubarb tuber. In total around 100 tubers were removed, and the winner was... our beautiful natural environment! 😁🥔

🌱 Turns out a few native trees, good people and a decent morning tea are a pretty good combination.

On Friday we welcomed local businesses, councillors, supporters and Bushlink family members to St Matthews Farm Reserve for our Friends of Bushlink morning. ☕🌿

During the morning, we planted native trees, shared plenty of laughs and gave people a glimpse into the incredible work our Bushlink team does every day.

💚 More importantly, it was an opportunity to show the community the real impact our supported employees have. From restoring local bushland to creating healthier community spaces, our team makes a meaningful contribution every day and Friday gave us the chance to share that story firsthand.

A big thank you to Dr Sophie Scamps Mandeep Singh Sunny Councillor https://www.facebook.com/mathew.cagney Northern Beaches Council https://www.facebook.com/claire.t.jones.3 Michelle Millner Ian Millner who joined us.

We can't wait to welcome more Friends of Bushlink to the next one.

💚 This EOFY, you can help create opportunities that change lives.
For the people we support at Northside and Bushlink, it's often the simple things that matter most. Learning a new skill, making a friend, getting out into the community, caring for local bushland or building confidence and independence.

Your donation helps fund transport, equipment, accessible spaces and programs that create these opportunities every day.
If you'd like to make a difference before 30 June, we'd be incredibly grateful for your support.

Because everyone deserves the chance to belong, contribute and thrive.

Make an EOFY donation to Northside and help us thrive!

📣 A huge thank you to our friends at Community Bank Freshwater for supporting Bushlink and promoting our community gardening services. 💚

Kasey Freshwater Manager generously provided window space in their branch to help us showcase the work our Gardening team does across the Northern Beaches.

Our community gardening service helps residents keep their gardens tidy, safe and manageable while creating meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

If you're passing through Freshwater, pop in and check out the display. We think it looks pretty special 🌿

It's partnerships like these that help local organisations make a real impact in the community.

Thank you for backing Bushlink and helping us spread the word.
