☕️🌟 A huge shout out to Sunny and the amazing team at FOUR KNOTS CAFE in Narrabeen! 🌟☕️

Today, Ella, Stan and Fran spent time at the café as part of their capacity building program, learning hands on skills including taking orders, clearing tables and helping with table service.

The team at 4 Knots welcomed them with open arms and made them feel like part of the crew from the moment they arrived. ❤️

Opportunities like this build confidence, independence and real connections within our local community.

You'll be seeing our Northside team at 4 Knots every Monday, so if you're grabbing a coffee, pop in, say hello and cheer them on! 👋😊

📣 NDIS COMMUNITY FORUM WITH Zali Steggall Tuesday 7th July — OPEN TO ALL Join us at Northside (5/26 William Street, Brookvale) on Tuesday 7th July from 6pm–8pm for an important community discussion on the NDIS, current reforms, community concerns and the future of disability support services. Spaces are Limited Register Here for Tickets. This is an opportunity for participants, families, carers, support coordinators, providers and community members to come together, ask questions, share perspectives and hear directly from Zali Steggall MP about issues impacting the disability community. As the NDIS continues to evolve, these conversations matter. At Northside, we believe strong communities are built when people feel informed, connected and heard. Light refreshments provided. 📣 COMMUNITY INFORMATION EVENING AT NORTHSIDE 28th May — OPEN TO ALL
Register here to join us on Thursday 28th May from 6pm–8pm at Northside Enterprise, 5/26 William Street, Brookvale. Acknowledging the challenging environment for families and primary carers we are pleased to welcome Daniel from Carer Gateway as our guest speaker, who will provide important information on supports and services available for carers and families, including respite, counselling, coaching and practical support options available through Carer Gateway. This will be a relaxed and informative evening where we will also share updates on what is happening across Northside and Bushlink, including:

🌱 Bushlink and our growing environmental and inclusion programs
🎨 EmpowerMe and the exciting activities and pathways being developed for participants
🎉 The Social Club and upcoming social and community opportunities

We’re currently recruiting a Field Supervisor to help lead supported teams carrying out bush regeneration, gardening and environmental projects across Sydney’s Northern Beaches. This role is about more than maintaining bushland. It’s about creating genuine opportunities for people with disability to learn skills, contribute, build confidence and be part of something meaningful. You’ll work alongside participants, schools, volunteers and community partners helping deliver practical environmental outcomes while supporting inclusion in action.
