One Meal - Northern Beaches Collaborating with social service agencies and community groups to help those most in need. Thank you!

Local community charity group; 100% volunteer run providing free food relief for people in need - fresh fruit & veggie hampers, cooked meals and pantry staples. We're always grateful for donations of time (volunteering), money or food - please get in touch via email or messenger. If you want to visit us, we are usually at the Co-op between 7:30-9am Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and between 4-5:00pm on Monday and Wednesday afternoons.

With the increased cost of living, schools are seeing more students who just don’t have enough food to eat and are going hungry.

Still making the most of last Friday’s Harris Farm Markets / Amazon Day of Goodness.

The eggplant, zucchini and capsicums left over were put to very good use!

Tracy, Belinda and the team turned it into 12 x 4kg bags of ratatouille & 10kg of cooked eggplant, vacuum sealed,
ready for next week’s meals
for those doing it tough 💛

Did you know that One Meal Northern Beaches delivers meals to Katoomba?

Our wonderful volunteers Pat and Tom Hazel dropped off 250 meals on Friday.

They are distributed to people struggling through Junction 142’s Open Table and Thrive, supporting families.

A great crew from Macquarie Group joined us for a Corporate Day — and what a session it was!

They made 214 servings of frittata. As well as cooking meals, they also prepped veggies, with 5 kg of broccoli vacuum packed for future meals.

They brought enthusiasm, teamwork, and plenty of laughs into the kitchen.

Corporate days like this build connection and purpose and give people a shared sense of doing something meaningful beyond their day job.

So many people are struggling with food insecurity… so this has real impact, with every meal going to someone doing it tough.

Part of our warehouse roof was removed to meet compliance requirements, and
we had moved everything out - which means we are paying commercial rent and working with less space.

We’re continuing our search for a new warehouse so we can keep providing food to those doing it tough.

What an incredible day! ❤️
One Meal was so fortunate to be part of Harris Farm’s Greater Goodness Day at their Marrickville store on Friday.

Together with over 20 amazing people from Harris Farm — including Angus and Luke Harris — and over 20 volunteers from Amazon, we packed an incredible 250 hamper boxes and over 500 fruit and veg bags filled with generously donated pantry staples and fresh produce supplied by Harris Farm.

This food will now reach people in need right across Sydney, helping individuals and families doing it tough.

We are so grateful for the ongoing support, generosity and community spirit shown by Harris Farm. When businesses, volunteers and communities come together, amazing things happen.

Big thanks to Craig and the team at Queenscliff Surf Life Saving Club for donating the eggs they won’t be able to use this weekend due to the weather.

Some will be used by our cooks, some will go out in fresh food bags - all of it helping people who are struggling.
