Australian Air League, Manly Squadron. We are a fun group for boys and girls aged 8-18 who love aviation!

In our weekly sessions held at our clubhouse in Hinkler Park, we learn about planes and flight, play sports, hold marches and play flight simulators!

Manly Squadron recently took part in another outstanding gliding camp, with cadets, officers, and parents all getting the opportunity to experience winch-launched gliding.

It was a fantastic weekend focused on aviation exposure, building confidence, and giving our cadets hands-on experience in a real gliding environment.

A big thank you to the dedicated instructors and members at the Southern Tablelands Gliding Club for their continued support and for helping make the camp such a valuable experience for our squadron.

A massive congratulations to Jensen Reynolds from Manly Squadron for flying his first solo today!

He flew a flawless circuit in his Piper Warrior VH-LRA, before landing back on Runway 24 earlier this morning. Congratulations again to Jensen on this incredible achievement, we all wish him well in pursuing his RPL!

Thank you to everyone who attended our end of year Christmas party to cap off 2024!

Many congratulations Reid Gaynes and Leo Zisserman, for receiving our junior and senior Cadet of the Year awards for 2024.
