The Yoga Impact Charity Evidence based Trauma Informed Yoga trainings and programs globally.

We partner with not-for-profits, Government & Schools to offer Yoga to refugees, survivors of family violence, healthcare workers, people in detention & Indigenous people The Yoga Impact Charity provides evidence based trauma informed yoga trainings and programs where they're needed most. Our global network of trauma informed yoga teachers partner with not-for-profit organisations, government and

schools to provide yoga at no cost to groups of all ages healing from trauma.

In 2018 The Yoga Impact Charity taught 417 trauma informed yoga classes in 16 locations around the world impacting over 3000 people.

The Charity is the evolution of a program created by Danielle Begg in partnership with the Vasudhara Foundation in 2014 called the Refugee Yoga Project.

The Yoga Impact Charity Ltd is a Health Promotion Charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission and has been endorsed a Deductible Gift Recipient by the Australian Tax Office.

✨Exciting news…We’re coming back to Melbourne! Enrolments are now open for March 2026✨

This 200 Hour Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher Training, hosted by in partnership with The Yoga Impact Charity, first launched in 2021 & now has an alumni of almost 200 teachers sharing yoga where it’s needed most

We’ve designed this course especially for anyone wanting to share evidence based, trauma informed yoga within diverse communities.

The Syllabus is Yoga Alliance Accredited and runs part time over a four month period in person in Melbourne or you can join us online from anywhere in the world.

We’ve been working with refugees, survivors of domestic violence, healthcare workers, familles of the defence force and people in detention since 2015 and offer our graduates opportunities to do the same.

We’ve evaluated our program methodology to understand the physical, psychological & social impact of our programs & distilled the key learnings into this course.

✨Welcome to the teaching team Tully ✨

Tully is based in Melbourne & a graduate of the 200 Hr Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher Training. Yoga, meditation, and breathwork have had a profound impact on her life, and she feels both excited and privileged to share these practices with others.

As a yoga teacher, Tully aims to create grounded, compassionate spaces where people can feel safe and access their inner calm. Through mindful movement, breathwork, and somatic awareness, she supports students in gently regulating the nervous system and reconnecting with their bodies
