Men’s Health Week |

This Men’s Health Week, Adam Gaunt from Mildura shares a message that comes straight from the heart.

Sometimes the hardest thing a man can do is admit he’s not okay.
We’re taught to be strong, to tough it out, to push through—but real strength is knowing when to reach out.
Don’t let pride stand in the way of getting the help and support you need.
If something doesn’t feel right—mentally, physically, or emotionally—book the appointment. Make the call.
Start the conversation.

The people around you want to support you, and there are professionals ready to help.
You don’t have to carry it all on your own.And to every bloke out there—look out for one another.
Check in with your mates.
Ask the question.
Listen without judgement.
A simple conversation can change a life.

This Men’s Health Week, let’s break the silence.
Let’s back each other.
Let’s take that first step.

💪 This June, our team is getting moving for something that really matters.

More than 50 members of the FGM team have signed up for The Push-Up Challenge, raising awareness and funds for mental health.

Every push-up completed throughout the challenge represents a life lost to su***de in Australia. It's a powerful reminder of why we need to keep talking, keep connecting and keep supporting one another.

This month, we're pushing for better and raising funds for Lifeline Loddon Mallee, helping support the 24/7 crisis services they provide across our region.

We were also pleased to welcome the Lifeline Loddon Mallee team to site for a BBQ this week, where they joined us to officially kick off the challenge. As you can see, there was no shortage of volunteers when it came time for a group push-up! 😅

If you'd like to get behind the team, you can join us or make a donation here 👉 bit.ly/4ui0DWY

We'll also be sharing a few fun moments from the team throughout the month, so stay tuned. 📸

If you or someone you know needs support, Lifeline is available 24/7 on 13 11 14.

Reaching out doesn’t have to look a certain way.

Some people want to talk things through. Others find it easier to send a message, or to start by exploring support in their own time. What matters is finding an option that feels manageable for you.

Lifeline offers different ways to access support including call, text, online chat, and self guided resources through our Support Toolkit.

Support is available 24/7, so you can choose what feels right for you.

Pictured is Lifeline Loddon Mallee CEO Lisa Renato receiving the donation raised through the annual banner auction — an initiative where all proceeds are given to a local charity. We are honoured to have been chosen as this year’s recipient.

This contribution will go a long way in helping Lifeline Loddon Mallee continue providing vital support services to our community when they’re needed most.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved — your generosity truly makes a difference. 🚗💙
