Help test the new way of planning for the NDIS
The NDIA is looking for NDIS participants aged 18 years and over to help test parts of the new way of planning.
The NDIA pays participants and plan nominees $200 for each session they complete in return for their time and feedback. Taking part is voluntary.
It’s important to know that taking part won’t affect current or future NDIS plans, funding, supports or eligibility. Taking part in testing doesn’t trigger a plan review, plan reassessment or compliance action.
By taking part, participants can experience what the new way of planning may be like. They can share their feedback to help improve it.
Feedback helps the NDIA:
• understand what works well
• identify issues early
• improve the new way of planning based on real experiences
• make planning fairer and more consistent for participants
• check that participants with similar support needs receive similar budget outcomes
• help make sure budgets better reflect participants’ disability support needs
• help the NDIA make improvements based on real participant experiences.

What a busy couple of months it has been at Scope Bendigo Social connections sites, ICON and Golden North. Picnics at the park celebrating Australia Day, adventures with friends, keeping active with sport all while engaging with the community and working on our LIFE skills.

At Bendigo (Golden North), we host social outing’s that focus on socialising with others, as well as developing independence and life skills for all ages.

Golden North’s garden area had some more upgrading done on the weekend. It’s starting to really take shape now.
A very big thank you to Pearce concrete for donating the crushed cement for our ground cover and Dig in Earthworks for coming out on a weekend to do the heavy lifting. Also a very big thanks to Alison Wood and her family for donating their time to help in the weekend also!!
