We celebrated the women in our lives on Mother’s Day with our beautiful Trees For Mum & High Tea event and now it’s the blokes turn.

We welcome one and all to our Fathers’s Day Bush Fun event on September 6.

Come along to the Huntly Gardens Natural Reserve between 10 and 12 as a family or send the kids off with Dad, Pop, Pa . . . for a morning of good old fashioned nature play:

🌳 tree climbing / log balancing
🐛 bug hunting (water and land bugs)
🔍 nature discovery
🔥 damper / marshmallow cooking

And for those with little workers, help us plant native Kangaroo Grass to inch us towards our goal of 6000 plants in the ground this planting season. Holes pre-dug and all equipment provided.

We sat under the old white box for our last meet up of the year. Next year we will have a public event in March to celebrate the Wellsford becoming part of the regional park around Bendigo and launch our ecological survey by Karl Just ecologist.
