Bendigo Sustainability Group - BSG Our goal is to create an active culture of understanding, education, inspiration, and hope, for our community to grow a sustainable future together.

Creating a vibrant and sustainable Bendigo won’t happen overnight, but we're here for the long haul! The Bendigo Sustainability Group (BSG) are local folk interested in creating a sustainable future, be it the bulk buying of solar power, sustainable gardening, capturing carbon, sustainable transport, community education or even sustainability policy development.

125 Bendigonians turned up to the

launch in May 2008 and 12 small working groups are now working away in their area of interest - which is the idea. Join the BSG in your area of interest. Bring your skills and join the biggest movement in human history.

📣 BRIGHT SPARKS PROGRAM UPDATE! 📣

So, first up, Bright Sparks is returning to the Maldon Neighbourhood Centre this Monday, 10-1pm, with Ross ready to answer your home energy queries.

Then on Thursdays, we're starting up a new Bright Sparks Program, 5-6pm in the Castlemaine Library, with Bek and Patrick. 🙋

💚And, our mainstay, super keen and helpful Bright Spark vollie John, every Friday 9:30-11:30am at the Castlemaine Community House .

Options across times, places and people, all ready to meet our shire residents needs with understanding tools, info and resources for home electrification and energy efficiency. ⚡
