Calling all volunteers - Axe Creek Community Planting days coming up!

Planting season is upon us, and Axe Creek Landcare is seeking volunteers to help revegetate our landscape and contribute to our successful biodiversity outcomes!

When and where:

- Saturday 13th June 10 am-1 pm

50 Red Box Drive, Axe Creek

- Sunday 21st June 10-1 pm

94 Red Box Drive, Axe Creek

Don’t miss out! There’s only a couple of weeks left to apply for the Victorian Junior Landcare and Biodiversity Grants 🌱🦋🐸

Whether it's planting native vegetation for gliders and bandicoots, creating the best ever Frog Bog, or even leading a citizen science project to monitor your local creek, these grants are a fantastic way to inspire children to care for Victoria’s biodiversity.

Apply for up to $5,000 before 3pm, Friday 27 March 2026.

The final round of the Partnerships Against Pests grant program is now open!

Applicants can apply for grants of between $10,000 and $50,000 to deliver projects over a 12-month period.

A webinar is being held on 27 March for prospective applicants to ask questions, learn from previous successful groups and be shown the online application process.

Applications are open until 11 May 2026. Total funding available for Round 5 of the program is $600,000.
