WFWP International was established in 1992 by Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon. Dr. Moon and her husband, the Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon, are a remarkable couple who have worked together for over 50 years to pioneer a way for peace on the global arena.

The Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) is committed to providing women with the opportunity to create lasting peace in the world, through service projects

, seminars, forums at the United Nations, luncheon programs, women's circles, racial and religious reconciliation projects, national and international conferences and benefits. WFWP Australia asserts that the family is the cornerstone of peace in the world, and that mature couples are the foundation for strong and loving families. Our organisation encourages every woman to become a "woman of peace" through cultivating her heart, the mother's heart; to care not just for her own children but for the children of others, the children of other nations and the children of the world by developing and expressing the qualities of empathy, forgiveness, and unconditional love.

🌟 2026 Masterclass Workshop Series: She Leads 🌟

What does heart-led leadership mean to you?

Authenticity. Integrity. Servant leadership. Developing others. Leading with care rather than authority.

These were some of the reflections shared as participants gathered for the first Masterclass Workshop for 2026 in WFWP Australia’s Leading into the Future Mentoring Program – She Leads 2026.

We were privileged to welcome Dr Linda Young, who guided us through Creative Practices for Heart-led Leadership, exploring how creativity can help leaders see what is present while imagining what is possible.

Linda challenged us to consider three powerful practices.

💛 Deep Listening
True listening is rare. Too often, we are preparing our response instead of fully hearing another person. Heart-led leaders put aside their own story, listen deeply, and seek to understand another's perspective before making decisions.

💛 Reflective Awareness
Leadership requires clarity of purpose. Linda encouraged participants to reflect on where they are seeking clarity right now, reminding us that while we may not know the path ahead, we must first be clear about where we want to go.

💛 Courageous Action
What have you been postponing? Linda reminded us that our hearts often know the answer before we find the words. Courageous leadership begins when we pay attention to what we are truly being called to do.

A powerful takeaway from the session was that creativity is not just about innovation—it is about having the courage to lead differently, to listen deeply, serve others, and align our actions with our values.

Thank you, Dr Linda Young, for inspiring our mentors and mentees as they begin another year of growth, connection, and heart-led leadership.

🌊 Happy World Ocean Day! 🌊💙

Did you know the ocean produces over 50% of the planet's oxygen? It truly is the lungs of our Earth. 🌍

The ocean covers over 70% of our planet, generates half of our oxygen, and regulates our entire climate system. Yet, it’s facing unprecedented challenges from pollution and warming temperatures. It’s time to stop treating the ocean like a distant, infinite resource and start acting as its guardians.

We don't need to be marine biologists to make a difference. We can start right where we are. Let’s reimagine our daily habits, reduce our plastic footprint, and protect our blue planet. 💙

👇 What’s one small change you’re making today for our oceans? Let us know in the comments!

The Arctic is our clearest, most immediate signal of a planet in crisis. Warming four times faster than the rest of the world, its rapid collapse is triggering a domino effect across the globe.

As we breach the critical 1.5°C threshold, the energy accumulating in our oceans and atmosphere is no longer a future threat—it is an active transformation reshaping our coastlines, weather, and civilization today.
