Good News Goats ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’›

What does hope look like?

For Ulagammal, hope came in the form of two goats.

Ulagammal was just three years old when her father passed away. Around the same time, her family discovered that she had cerebral palsy. Sadly, Ulagammal and her mother faced teasing and isolation from people in their community who did not understand her condition.

But hope was not lost ๐Ÿ™

Through our local partner DAIA, Ulagammal received two goats. She cared for them with love, patience, and purpose. Since then, her mother says Ulagammal has become braver, happier, and more peaceful.

That is the good news a simple goat can bring ๐Ÿ’›

Today, you can share that same hope with someone else. A gift of $100 can provide a Good News Goat to a family in need ๐Ÿ

And until 30 June, every donation will be matched, meaning your gift can have double the impact ๐Ÿ™Œ

What a wonderful time at the Christian Ministry Advancement Ltd (CMA) Conference 2026 ๐Ÿ™Œโœจ

Held at the Melbourne Convention Centre from 2โ€“3 June, the conference brought together Christian leaders, board members and ministry teams from across Australia for two days of learning, connection and encouragement ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ’›

Our CEO, Dr. Andrew Catford, had the opportunity to lead a session on INAโ€™s locally led development approach ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŽค

It was a blessing to share how INA works alongside trusted local partners who know their communities deeply and are faithfully serving people in need ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’›

The session received amazing positive response, and we are so thankful for the meaningful conversations it sparked ๐Ÿ’ฌโœจ

We were also grateful to have an INA stand at the conference, where we could reconnect with old supporters, meet new friends, and share more about our local partners around the world ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ™Œ

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined the session on locally led development, stopped by our stand, or took the time to say hello ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ’›

We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of this yearโ€™s CMA Conference and to continue walking alongside others who are serving with purpose, wisdom and faith ๐Ÿ™โœจ

During her visit to Australia, Hilda John, Executive Director of DAIA, Development Association for Integrated Activity (Development Association for Integrated Activity ), had the joy of connecting with young Australians and sharing stories of hope, dignity, and lasting change.

One of the special parts of her visit was the opportunity to connect with young Australians at Trinity Grammar Kew, Scotch College, and Heritage College.

At Trinity Grammar Kew, Hilda joined Year 8 students for chapel, where the students were engaged, listened closely, and asked thoughtful questions ๐Ÿ™Œ

At Scotch College, she met with a small group of interested students who were keen to hear more about her work in India ๐Ÿ’–

At Heritage College, Hilda shared at another beautiful chapel, with around 150 students in attendance, including primary students โœจ

These moments were such a meaningful reminder that young Australians are curious, compassionate, and eager to learn about the world around them ๐ŸŒ

A heartfelt thank you to Trinity Grammar, Scotch College (Scotch College Melbourne ), and Heritage College (Heritage College ) for welcoming Hilda so warmly, and for giving students the chance to hear directly from a local leader creating lasting change in India.

We are so grateful for Hilda (Hilda John ), her leadership, and the way she continues to share DAIAโ€™s story with grace, wisdom, and hope ๐Ÿ’›

There is something so special about putting pen to paper ๐Ÿ’›โœ๏ธ

Recently, we had the joy of hosting a letter-writing session with our wonderful supporters at Fullife Foundation, who currently support 45 children in Ethiopia through INAโ€™s child sponsorship program.

Together with Fullife, our volunteers, staff, and interns came together to write messages of encouragement, kindness, and birthday wishes to all their Linked children.๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’Œ

For a sponsored child, receiving a letter can mean so much. It is a reminder that someone across the world is thinking of them, praying for them, and cheering them on as they grow.

A big thank you to Fullife Foundation, and to everyone who helped make this such a warm and meaningful experience ๐Ÿ™โœจ

If you currently sponsor a child through INA, we encourage you to take a moment to write to them. Your words can bring joy, hope, and a beautiful reminder that they are loved and remembered ๐Ÿ’›

With the right support, lives can change in powerful ways. ๐Ÿ’›

Lakshmi knows this better than most.

Born into poverty in a small community in India, Lakshmi contracted polio when she was just 2 years old. Growing up, she faced discrimination, isolation, and mockery from those who did not understand her disability.

But her story did not end there. ๐Ÿ™

Through the support of generous people like you, and with our local partner DAIA, Lakshmi joined a tailoring course and learned a skill her community urgently needed.๐Ÿงตโœจ

Today, Lakshmi runs her own tailoring business. She has moved from despair to dignity, and from isolation to independence.

This EOFY, you can help another woman in India take that same life-changing step.

A gift of $276 can help provide a woman with her very own sewing machine. And right now, every dollar you give will be matched, meaning your $276 becomes $552 ๐Ÿ™Œ

Your gift can help double the impact and create lasting change for women like Lakshmi.

We never quite know what will change someoneโ€™s life.

For Lakshmi, it was something simple. A sewing machine. Nothing fancy, but it became the turning point that helped her move from isolation into a place of purpose and community. Today, she is not just earning an income, she is a leader others look up to. ๐Ÿ™Œ

And this change began with supporters like you.

With the end of the financial year in sight, you can help more women experience their own turning point. We are aiming to raise $150,000 to support women on their journey out of poverty, one opportunity at a time.

This year, your generosity can go even further as you can DOUBLE your impact thanks to a group of generous INA supporters who committed to matching every donation, dollar for dollar up to $75,000. โœจ

Donate before 30 June and be part of changing someoneโ€™s life for the better!
