Free Skin Checks at Goomalibee

The Alpine Outreach Van will visit the Goomalibee Upotipotpon Fire Station on Wednesday 5 August, offering free skin health checks with qualified clinicians from the Gardens Skin Cancer Centre. Book now to avoid disappointment.

This is your chance to get checked locally. The skin check takes around 20 minutes and gives you the chance to ask questions on the day and receive guidance about following up with your GP or specialist if needed.

Online bookings are preferred; some walk-ins may be available if time allows.

Free community cuppa & BBQ. Everyone is welcome.

💙 2026 Garry Nash & Co Community Grant Round – Now Open! 💙

Grants of up to $2,500 are now available to support charitable organisations in the Rural City of Wangaratta and surrounds.

If your organisation is eligible, we’d love to receive your application.

The Nash & Co. Community Fund grant round is now open.

This year, the fund is piloting unrestricted grants of up to $2,500 for local charitable organisations working in:

• Housing and homelessness
• Natural disaster recovery
• Health and wellbeing
• Education

Unrestricted funding means organisations can use the grant where it is most needed rather than for a specific project. This type of funding means organisations can respond to situations as they arise in the way that they know works best for long-term impact.

Applications close Wednesday 25 March 2026.
