😃 What an amazing experience for this Victorian legend, Anouk.

🎉Anouk recently went to the Chamonix, France to watch the Lead World Series where it just happened, Victorian Open Team Member, Ravleen Sidhu was competing in her first Open Lead event on the WC circuit. 👏🏾

😀 Anouk not only got to see a World Series but she also competed in and set an international micro-edging record in Chamonix - she is the slab queen! 😁

😀 Sport Climbing Victoria is pleased to introduce the Board for 2026/2027.

This year’s Board brings together a strong mix of continuity, experience and fresh perspective across Governance, Events, Athlete development, Competition operations, Safeguarding, and the broader growth of climbing in Victoria.

We welcome Stuart Molyneaux as President, alongside Jenny Lim as Vice President, Yvette Harrison as Secretary, and Stuart Williams as Treasurer.

We also welcome our Directors:
Tarni Cavanagh, Alex Poberezovsky, Melanie Borcovsky, Dean Hutchins, Lucie Armstrong and Ben Iredale.

Many of these names will already be familiar to the SCV community, with Board members having contributed across multiple areas in recent seasons.
We are also pleased to welcome Lucie Armstrong, Ben Iredale and Melanie Borcovsky to the Board, and look forward to the perspective, experience and energy they will bring.

A sincere thank you to everyone who has stepped forward to support the ongoing development of sport climbing in Victoria.

We look forward to working together to strengthen our competitions, athlete pathways, volunteer base and climbing community throughout the year ahead. 👏🏽

🤩 It's that time of year again where we bring you the members of the Australian Youth Climbing Team who are heading to the World Youth Championships in Arco, Italy this July! 👏🏽

First cab off the rank is Under 17 Speed Climber from Victoria,

😁Welcome back to the Australian Youth Climbing Team Nora for your 2nd time. Did you know Nora holds the womens Australian speed record of 8.27. ⭐

Looking forward to the comp ahead, Nora told

“I’m excited to be able to represent Australia once again at the Youth World Championships. This year is my last year in U17, therefore I want to make the most of this by gaining more experience. I’ve been training hard and my goals are fairly straightforward: I want to make sure that my training translates into the competition and overall give it my best.

I also want to thank everyone who has supported me on my way to Youth Worlds this year!!”
