🏆 A Success Story Worth Celebrating

This season, one of our sponsored participants was awarded their football club's Best & Fairest Award.

At Kids in Sport, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to participate in sport, regardless of their family's circumstances. Through sport, young people build confidence, resilience, friendships and a sense of belonging.

Achievements like this are a wonderful reminder of the positive impact that access to sport can have.

Congratulations on an outstanding season and a fantastic achievement. We are incredibly proud to have played a small part in your journey. 💙🏉

A heartfelt thank you to our supporters and sponsors who help make opportunities like this possible. 🙌💙

💙 Champions come in all forms.

Recently, we received a donation from a young supporter who found some money while fishing and decided to donate it to Kids in Sport Inc.

"I found some money when i was fishing and decided to donate some of it. Harry aged 10"

It's a wonderful reminder that kindness isn't measured by the size of a gift, but by the heart behind it.

Thank you to every supporter who helps create sporting opportunities for children in our community.

🏀 "The support made a huge difference to our family."

We recently received this beautiful feedback from one of the families supported through Kids in Sport. Their child has been able to continue participating in basketball, build confidence, make friendships and experience the sense of belonging that comes from being part of a team...

"The support we received from Kids in Sport made a huge difference to our family. It allowed our child to continue playing the sport they love without the financial stress. Through sport, they've made great friends, grown in confidence, and become part of a team where they feel included and supported.

Seeing their excitement each week, their commitment, and the joy they get from participating has been priceless. The impact has gone far beyond the sport itself. It has helped them believe in themselves and continue pursuing something they are truly passionate about.

We are incredibly grateful to Kids in Sport for making opportunities like this possible for families like ours."

🏆 We're thrilled that the work Kids In Sport is doing to help children remain involved in sport has been recognised through My Expert®'s win at the AFG Excellence Awards.

The 'Industry & Community Broker Group of the Year' award acknowledges the positive impact being created through our charity's support for local families in need of a helping hand, to keep their children active and connected through sport.

To our supporters, sponsors, volunteers and families: thank you. This recognition is yours as much as it is ours 👏

Together, we're Giving Kids A Sporting Chance 🤸‍♂️💙

A little update from Kids in Sport...

We haven't posted much lately, but today I spent some time reviewing and organising our applications and it really hit home how much has been achieved already.

To date, we've helped almost 20 kids participate in sport by assisting with registrations, uniforms and sporting equipment.

Twenty kids may not sound like a huge number, but to those families, it means opportunities that may not have otherwise been possible.

Today also served as a reminder that community initiatives like Kids in Sport can make a real difference, and we're proud to continue supporting local families wherever we can.

Thank you to everyone who has shared, supported and believed in this program.

💙 Every child deserves the chance to play.

🏀 He just wanted to keep playing.

During a really challenging time for his family, continuing basketball wasn't guaranteed.

But through Kids in Sport, this 8-year-old was able to stay on the court and that's made all the difference 💙

"Basketball has given him so much more than a sport, it has provided friendship, belonging, routine, and a place where he feels confident and capable."

What started as simply staying involved has grown into so much more.

His confidence has built, his skills have improved, and he now looks forward to every training session and game. He's even become more motivated to stay active and make healthy choices so he can perform at his best.

For his family, the impact has been far greater than they imagined.

"The positive impact on his confidence, happiness, health, and daily life has been immeasurable."

This is what Kids in Sport is all about.

Removing the financial barrier so kids can keep doing what they love and thrive because of it.
