Botanikids Nature Club is for registered families we meet play learn walk in these Gardens every week
We host schools Kinders visitors

Loreto girls are coming to help anf have an activity to share on our walk

Potting bunting seeds flowers play, a lovely fruit platter but bring kids snacks as usual

We will have fun even a special photo fun sunflower that is amazing to take the kids photos !

Australian Pollinator Week is here! 🌸🐝

From 8-16 November, we’re celebrating the bees, butterflies, beetles, birds, bats and other pollinators that keep Australia blooming.

Pollinators support food production, protect biodiversity and help Australian ecosystems thrive. However, they rarely receive the credit they deserve. Without pollinators, the landscapes we love and the food we depend on would look very different.

💛 Across the country, communities are celebrating with pollinator picnics, bee-friendly gardening sessions, art activities, webinars and more. Now’s the time to get involved.

Whether you’re hosting, attending or learning, thank you for helping to shine a light on the important and unique pollinators in Australia.

Did know that the Blue Banded Bee is pretty spesh in our gardens and natural spaces ?
It has a special link with certain flowers that hide their pollen from other bees and ply release it when the BBB does a jiggly dance !

The BBB loves blue and purple flowers !!!

We think we will create our very own Blue Banded bee from pinecone wool and cellophane
And Googley eyes

We are at the Gatekeepers Cottage on Tuesday 15th Sept 10 am - 12
We are nature walking with magnifying glasses this time to see what we can find
We will be visiting the Conservatory seeing the beautiful flowers and then back at the Cottage to plant our special Nasturtiums to pop in our gardens at home
Come along rug up we know we will have fun
