Ballarat Begonia Festival is currently on. 10am to 5pm today Sunday and Monday. Lots of Cacti Succulents and heaps of interesting stalls for the whole family. Drop by for a look and say hi. Sue Davis is also there with plants at SUEALOE

Not long now until we are at The Begonia festival 2026. Drop in and visit us to see what we have for sale. We will be next to the Begonia Sales stand. One of our members Sue Davis is also there as SUEALOE behind the Begonial Sales Stand with Cacti, Succulents and Caudiciform plants. Keep Saturday 7th, Sunday 8th or Monday 9th March, 2026 free to pop by the Ballarat Botanic Gardens where the 2026 Begonia Festival will be held. Lots to see and do for all ages.

Good afternoon, unfortunately we are postponing our visit to Tianze and Ravi's due to the extreme heat which is forecast for all areas. The forecast for Monbulk is Wednesday 39, Thursday 33 and Friday 37. The temperature in the igloos will be a few degrees higher. Tianze and Ravi also have the welfare of Ryan to take into account. Given these considerations, we feel it would be reckless to proceed. We will discuss this at the next meeting and set an alternative date.
We wanted to let you know as early as possible to allow you to make alternative plans. Happy New Year.

BUS TRIP!!!!!!!!
We are having a bus trip to Tianze, Ravi and Ryan's nursery in Monbulk on the 9th of January 2026. We will leave Creswick at 8.30 am arriving about 11.30 am leave Monbulk at 2.00 pm arriving home about 5.00pm. There will be lunch provided and the club is heavily subsidising the trip. Cost will be only $30 per head and you will have the opportunity to purchase some excellent plants while you are there.Please let Heather know on 0419 449 750 by the 2nd if you would like to come. Friends, partners etc welcome to join us for the day.

Next Meeting December 12th at 12.00pm. This meeting is our Christmas break up to be held at Birdsong Nursery 9 Baglin Street, Smythesdale Victoria 3351. We are having a traditional Christmas Dinner. Yes that’s right lunch at the nursery, if you go to the Robert Clark Centre at this time or later you will be the only one there.
