This week we learn about the mitzvah of Tzitzit. One of its purposes is to remind us of all 613 mitzvot.

We all use reminders, calendar alerts, notes, and messages to help us remember what matters. But Tzitzit are more than a reminder; they surround us.

The message is powerful: Judaism doesn’t just tell us what to do, it gives us the strength, warmth, and support to do it. Tzitzit wrap us in Hashem’s love, helping us become the people we are meant to be.

Our parsha opens with the mitzvah of lighting the Menorah.

The Menorah is more than a symbol of light it is a reminder of who we are.

Today, more than ever, we must stand tall and proud, never allowing fear to push us into hiding our identity. A Jewish flame is not diminished by sharing its light. On the contrary, one flame can ignite countless others while losing nothing of itself.

The message of the Menorah is simple: Be the light. Shine with confidence, inspire those around you, and remember that every act of Jewish pride, kindness, and faith brings more light into the world.
