Albany Chamber of Commerce & Industry

Albany Chamber of Commerce & Industry Working to support businesses in Albany and the Great Southern to grow a thriving business community

Since 1892, the Albany Chamber of Commerce & Industry has supported business in Albany and the Lower Great Southern by working to create a vibrant and diverse business economy that fosters growth, connectivity, strength and unity. We do this by listening to the businesses in our region, advocating for what matters most to our community as a unified voice, providing avenues for educational resource

s, and working towards the changes we as a community want to see. Getting together to network, connect and share ideas is important to us, which is why we work to generate a varying range of events which provide promotional and networking opportunities to for businesses to meet business leaders, community representatives, politicians, and fellow Albany CCI members. This all helps to work towards creating a strong regional business voice and economy.

The ACCI Business & Community Directory is much more than a directory.

It's where locals find trusted businesses. It's where community groups connect with new members. It's where visitors discover what makes the Great Southern such a special place to live, work and explore.

Delivered to more than 23,000 households and businesses across the region, it's one of the most effective ways to put your organisation in front of the local community.

Whether you're an established business, a new start-up, a sporting club, not-for-profit or community organisation, we'd love to help you be part of it.

You never know which conversations will change your future ☀️

Today, Retravision Stadium was buzzing with opportunity as employers, training providers, students, jobseekers and community members came together for the 2026 Great Southern Deadly Jobs & Careers Expo.

From exploring career pathways and training opportunities to connecting directly with local employers, the event showcased the many possibilities available across our region.

A huge congratulations to Impact Services , the Jobs & Skills Centre and all event partners for delivering such an important community event, helping people discover pathways into employment, education and future careers.

It was fantastic to see so many conversations happening and so much enthusiasm for the future of the Great Southern 🙌

Have you ever walked away from a conversation and thought...

"I wish I'd handled that differently."

Maybe it was a difficult staff member.
Maybe it was an unhappy customer.
Maybe it was a tense conversation with a colleague.
Maybe it was someone having a bad day and you accidentally got caught in the crossfire.

The truth is, conflict doesn't just happen in hospitality and tourism.

It happens in offices.
It happens on worksites.
It happens in retail stores.
It happens in boardrooms.
It happens anywhere people work together.

That's why our upcoming workshop, 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀, is relevant for leaders across all industries.

You'll learn practical, repeatable tools to:
✓ Recognise and regulate emotional triggers
✓ Respond rather than react in high-pressure situations
✓ Use language that de-escalates tension
✓ Navigate difficult conversations with confidence
✓ Build trust and accountability within your team

Whether you're managing staff, leading volunteers, supervising teams or running your own business, these are skills that can make every workplace conversation easier.

Because leadership isn't about avoiding difficult conversations.
It's about knowing how to have them well.

When was the last time you did something just for you?

Not for your customers.
Not for your team.
Not for your family.
Not for your business.

Just for you.

As part of our upcoming Wellbeing Retreat, we're creating space to slow down, breathe and reconnect.

🌿 A gentle Pilates session with Paris, designed to help you reset, connect and move your body with intention.

🎨 A guided Textured Art Workshop with Maddy, where there is no right or wrong outcome. Just creativity, expression and the opportunity to let your emotions and intuition guide the process.

You'll also enjoy meaningful conversations, practical wellbeing tools and time away from the demands of everyday life.

Thanks to Tourism WA funding, this retreat has been heavily subsidised, making it an accessible opportunity for hospitality, tourism and customer-facing professionals to invest in their wellbeing.

Because the people who spend their days looking after others deserve to be looked after too.
