Tomorrow is the day! 🌿🐳✨

Are you meeting friends there or are you making it a family day?

Come to Town Square this Thursday for some fun things to do with the kids!

Craft and Face Painting are free 😊

🎟 Tickets for use of the Inflatables can be bought on the day! $20/wristband. Only needed for kids who want to go on the inflatables.

We'll have out the:
- Giant Maze
- Surfboard
- Little Pirate
- Dodgeball
- Basketball
- Soccer Darts

Definitely a lots to do with the kids! Wristbands mean that you can come and go all day, just be sure to leave them on! 😊

Yoga in the Square is back 🌿

Take a moment for yourself in the heart of the city and join us for a gentle, outdoor yoga session designed to help you move, stretch and unwind.

A little midweek reset, right in the heart of town 🌿

After such a beautiful response last week, Yoga in the Square is back for the next three Thursdays and we’d love to see you there.

Join us in Albany Town Square for a gentle, welcoming 45-minute yoga flow with local instructor Leah Stonham. It’s the perfect way to stretch, slow down and reconnect after the day.

All experience levels are welcome, whether you’re brand new or a regular on the mat.

The Daily Bagel van will also be there serving up wholesome snacks, drinks and of course their famous bagels, so you can make a little evening of it.

Just bring your mat, some comfy clothes and a water bottle… maybe a friend too.

This is a free community event, but registrations are required to help us manage numbers.

This week, Thursdays on York is taking a little break 💛

The square will be busy with bump in for something pretty special… Albany Pride Fair Day & Dog Show 2026 🐶🌈

So instead of catching up with us Thursday, we’d love you to head along on Saturday and soak up the colour, community and celebration that Pride brings to our town.

From wagging tails to big smiles, Fair Day is all about connection, inclusivity and showing up for one another.

Mark it in your calendar and bring your people along. We can’t wait to see York Street buzzing.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Courtney Moir from Season 4 of Muster Dogs will be joining us as our special guest judge for the Albany Pride Fairday Dog Show! 🎉🐶

Albany-born and a proud Great Southern local, Courtney is not only an incredible dog handler but also a mum of two and a passionate regional role model. We couldn’t think of a more perfect person to help us crown our four-legged superstars!

Courtney shared, “I’m truly honoured to have been asked to be part of Albany Pride Fairday. I’m so excited to attend and celebrate with the community. Pride means a lot to me personally — I have a family connection to the LGBTIQA+ community, and events like this are so important for visibility and support.” 💛

Okay Albany, you asked for something different.

You told us you wanted more to do in Town Square.

More for kids.
More for teens.
More for adults.
Something social.
Something competitive (yet still fun).
Something you don’t have to train two nights a week for.

So here it is.

The Monsterball Dodgeball Championship is coming to Thursdays on York! 🥳🥳🥳

- Six weeks.
- Leaderboards.
- Divisions for Juniors, Teens and Adults.
- Cash prizes for adults.
- Medals and bragging rights for everyone else.

It runs from 5 March to 16 April in Albany Town Square.

𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙚’𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙗𝙞𝙩.

Each division is capped at 8 teams only and registrations need to be confirmed by 28 February for the competition to go ahead.

If you’ve been saying “𝘸𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘯”, this is your moment to get involved.

Albany… ready to have a little fun? 🏐

The Monsterball Dodgeball Championship is landing at Thursdays on York and it’s less about elite athletes… and more about laughing, moving and doing something different together.

We’re running a 6-week dodgeball series (5th March to 16th April) in the Albany Town Square, wrapping up with a big School Holiday Finals Night.

🏐 Teams of 6 (with 2 subs allowed)
🏐 Weekly Thursday games
🏐 Juniors, Teens and Adults divisions

Yes, there are prizes.
Yes, there’s a bit of healthy competition.
But mostly? It’s about community, energy and giving it a go.

So grab your kids, your workmates, your netball team, your gym crew or that group chat that’s always saying “we should do something fun”.

Spots are limited, so lock in your team and let’s fill the Square.

This week’s Thursdays on York is bringing Picnic & Piano back to the Square with the Kinjarling Keys and honestly… the weather is coming to the party too.

Warm evening, grass under your feet, a community piano and a few wonderful food vans rolling in. Bring a picnic rug, grab some dinner and settle in while the keys get shared around. If you’re feeling brave, you might even have a go.

We’re quietly getting ready for something new next month too. March is bringing the first ever dodgeball tournament to Thursdays on York. More on that soon….. 🙈

For now, message that friend you always say “we should catch up” to when you bump into them at Woolies and come spend a relaxed Thursday evening in the Square.

Music, food, fresh air and good company.

That’s a pretty perfect way to ease into the weekend.
