Now in its sixth year, we welcomed 59 new participants through our ADF Veterans program 👏

With involvement from a number of past Port Adelaide players, the six week program saw new connections formed and stories shared over experiences like attending an AFL game day and watching the Bob Quinn Documentary.

A huge thank you to our major program partner Veterans SA and support partner DEWC Services for their support with the program’s delivery ❤️

This year, we engaged over 300 students across 13 schools with a dedicated Defence School Mentor (DSM) in South Australia, delivering resources that support the needs of military families.

We were fortunate to be joined by current Port Adelaide players which was a highlight for everyone involved 🤩

A moment for our award winners in the 2026 Santos Ltd Aboriginal Power Cup 👏

Now in its 19th year, the program engaged First Nations secondary school students in their education and career pathways, while exploring and connecting to Aboriginal culture.

The annual awards ceremony recognises the outstanding achievements of students, SAASTA academies, and schools from across South Australia, with awards presented by leaders from education, community, government, and industry.

We are proud to announce the expansion of the Empowered program in 2026 following an increase in funding from Credit Union SA 👏

The additional support will allow the program to reach a further 500 students across ten schools this year 🧑‍🎓
