🎉 August Highlights with our SSG Group! 🎉
Last month was filled with laughter, friendship and wonderful moments together! We celebrated our August birthdays, welcomed a special guest speaker from RAA to chat about lifestyle and mobility, and enjoyed our usual bingo and fun activities.
It’s always lovely seeing our seniors come together to connect, share and enjoy each other’s company. 💛

Last week, our Senior Social Support Group enjoyed a creative Marker Chromatography Art Activity, where everyone explored how colourful marker inks spread through paper to create beautiful flower designs. 🌸🎨

The activity encouraged creativity, conversation, and plenty of laughter as each participant produced their own unique artwork.
To conclude the day, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch of homemade tomato meatballs served with fresh Vietnamese bread rolls. 🍅🥖

Our seniors had a wonderful day exploring the beautiful Government House in Adelaide last week. Everyone enjoyed learning about its rich history, taking lots of photos, and spending quality time together before finishing the day with a delicious lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant.
Excursions like these provide a wonderful opportunity for our seniors to stay socially connected, explore new places, and create lasting memories together.

Today at 1:30 pm, a national test of Australia’s new national messaging system, AusAlert, will take place.
During this test, compatible mobile phones, tablets, and smartwatches may vibrate and emit a loud, siren-like sound for around 10 seconds.
This is only a test. There is no emergency, and no action is required.
