Hey guys, Veteran charity event incoming!

Robby’s Walk in the Green was created in honour of Robby, a veteran, mate, father, brother and someone deeply respected by those who knew him.

Following Robby’s passing in October 2024, his mates, family and wider community came together with a shared goal to create something meaningful in his memory that could help support other families facing difficult times.

In October 2026, a team of close mates, former serving members, first responders, along with Robby’s dad and brother, will undertake a Kokoda Trek in honour of Robby and all those we have lost.

If you can help out in anyway this would be greatly appreciated. Whether that’s donating or helping spread the word by sharing the message.

This is an incredibly sad incident and our hearts go out to family, friends and all those involved in the SAR response.
Please remember how critically important it is that blame does not cloud the investigation of this incident, IF we want to truly learn from it. The questions we should be asking are; was there a decision/why the decision was made to attempt the dive, and what were the surrounding circumstances. Critically, was there an adequate dive brief and why if the brief did not include such a depth or pe*******on of the cave, didn't one, some or all divers turn around if the guide did indeed lead them in. This is an instance where finger pointing and blame would be very easy, but ask yourself this, "what if?" There are likely scores of possibilities, did the dive leader get into trouble and the group tried to aid him, or did the leader or one of the team get narced and the rest tried to save that person who dived on? Choose a plethora of other scenarios, and one, some or parts of all are likely to include contributing factors.
But, hopefully the facts will come to light and we as divers can start to piece together what likely happened, and more importantly, put together responses to the facts and possible circumstances that make our own dive briefs better and our diving safer...
STAY STRONG . STAY VIGILANT

Please pause for a moment today and remember our brother WO2 Lachlan Muddle, Paratrooper, lost to us last night in a training incident.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Lachlan's family, friends and all who have served alongside him, an Australian hero that has paid the ultimate price in the service of his Country, his community and his Brothers and Sisters in uniform.
Lest we forget.
