THE MORNINGS THAT SHAPE FUTURES // Three years ago, school felt impossible.

Today, Remy is School Captain.

That’s the power of safe, consistent mornings and trusted people who keep showing up, even on the hard days.

This EOFY, help us create more mornings that build confidence, belonging, and brighter futures.

BRAVERY LOOKS LIKE THIS // Reaching Out 💛

Sometimes bravery is as simple as starting a conversation or showing up to something new.
Connection begins with one step.

RECONCILIATION DAY // Reconciliation is not a single day or moment; it is an ongoing journey of listening, learning, truth-telling and action.

Today we acknowledge the history, culture and enduring connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to this land. We recognise the strength of the world’s oldest continuing cultures and honour the resilience of communities who have cared for Country for tens of thousands of years.

Reconciliation calls each of us, as individuals, organisations and communities; to move beyond words and toward meaningful relationships built on respect, understanding and equity. It asks us to confront difficult histories, celebrate cultural knowledge, and commit to creating a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are empowered, heard and supported.

At LIVEfree Project, we are committed to walking alongside First Nations peoples with humility and openness; valuing community voice, strengthening culturally respectful practices, and continuing to learn how we can contribute to a more just and inclusive society.

Reconciliation is not about the past alone. It is about the future we choose to build together.

THE MORNINGS THAT SHAPE FUTURES // Some futures are shaped before the first school bell rings.

A safe pickup, a familiar face, breakfast in hand, and the confidence to walk through the school gates.

This EOFY, help us protect the mornings that shape futures. Rising fuel costs and the cost-of-living crisis mean these life-changing runs need our community more than ever.

Your gift helps us keep showing up; driveway by driveway, child by child, future by future.

Community Engagement Day // We were proud to partner with the Local Drug & Alcohol Team (LDAT) and Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group (NCIG) to deliver a Career Pathways Day designed to expand horizons and create real opportunities for young people in our region.

The day provided practical insight into employment pathways, workplace expectations, skill development and the many possibilities that exist beyond the classroom. For many students, experiences like this are more than information sessions, they are moments where confidence grows, aspirations take shape, and futures begin to feel achievable.

Hearing directly from industry professionals, exploring different career options, and engaging in hands-on conversations helps young people connect their strengths and interests with tangible next steps.

We are deeply grateful to LDAT and NCIG for investing in the next generation and demonstrating what meaningful community partnership looks like in action.

When community organisations, industry and support services come together, we don’t just talk about opportunity, we create it.
