The focus of VFN is to support international families living in or around Vienna. We offer:

Information – Join us to tap into the collective experience of more than 2000 members and get up-to-date information in English about administrative issues, health care, education and leisure activities via email or on our dedicated social media platform. Support – Become part of our community and join our

groups (by age of children, district or interest). We also hold special events such as our bi-annual Flea Market, our Education Night, our Christmas Party or the Trick-or-Treat Halloween walk across town. Friendship - We bring you together with other members going through the same experience to make vital and lasting friendships. Our next VFN Workshop explores a topic many parents wonder about - but often don’t know how to approach:

How do we talk to children about bodies, boundaries, consent, and sexual health in an age-appropriate way?

Together with sexual health educator Martina Trimmel, we’ll explore how to create open conversations, support healthy body awareness, and help children understand personal boundaries and safe interactions from an early age.

From “cute names” for body parts to difficult Kindergarten moments and questions around curiosity, self-exploration, and consent, this workshop creates space for honest, practical, and supportive discussion.

Together, we raised €1577 for MOMO Kinderpalliativzentrum 💜

Events like this do not happen in just one Sunday. They are built over weeks and months of planning, coordinating, organizing, baking, carrying, answering messages, solving problems, setting up, cleaning up, supporting families, and showing up for the community again and again...
